Dubai Civil Aviation Authority is established
as an autonomous body, by a decree of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, on proclamation of law No. 21 of 2007, to undertake
development of Air Transport Industry in the Emirate of Dubai and to oversee
all aviation related activities.In the execution of law, it shall undertake
negotiations for Air Service Agreements and shall in particular, take action to
achieve the following objectives: |

Objectives:
-
Laying down of policies for Civil Aviation, in the Emirate of Dubai.

Participating, negotiating and signing of Air Service Agreements, on behalf of
the Government of Dubai.

Receiving and authorizing local or foreign air transportation, regular or non
regular passenger and cargo flights to and from airports in the Emirates,
including landing and operational approval.

Supervising implementation of agreements and conventions, relating to Civil
Aviation and Meteorology.

Specification of danger and restricted zones etc.

Monitoring of air crew, for compliance with rules and regulations, for air
navigation.
-
Inspecting aircrafts engaged in air transport, for documents which they are
obliged to carry.
