Landing Approvals
Director General of DCAA, is empowered by the Decree to regulate Air Transport within the Emirate of Dubai. In exercising these provisions, he grants permission of schedule and non- schedule flights to operate to and through Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International and ensure airlines compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.
It is mandatory for airlines to make application through accepted channels, to operate to/through Dubai.
Dangerous Goods
Carriage of dangerous goods as listed in the ICAO Technical Documents is restricted or prohibited, according to the dangers it constitutes to passengers, aircraft and people on ground. As the carriage of these listed items are regulated by Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, all airlines are required to obtain permission for transport of Dangerous Goods by air, in accordance with Civil Aviation Regulation of UAE.
Obstacle height clearance
It is a service which caters to structural height restrictions and approvals such as building heights, lighting, billboards, balloons, telecommunication towers and High rise structures. The obstacle clearness system is a quick and easy way of applying for Height clearance. The client will be able to apply for the No Objection certificate and then keep track of the status of his request. New Branch
A letter is required to be issued by DCAA to open a branch of a company established in the UAE, provided his business is operational from Dubai Airport.
